Reflection Questions (last photo)
What location and subject matter did you choose to shoot for your photo?
I chose a boat yard as my location and I photographed a storage container.
Describe the photo you took:
I took a photo of a steel storage container, the main point of the photo is the number of the bin. The bin is rusted and gives the photo darker shade.
What is the distance in the shot? (How close or far away are you from your subject?)
I was about 8 feet from the subject.
What was your point of view when you took the photo? (from above, below, straight on...)
I was straight on when I took the photo.
Are your photographs horizontal or vertical?
The photo was vertical.
Did you consider the rule of thirds to compose your shot? Describe.
I did not for this photo in particular, the numbers were at the top of the container, I didn't want the sky in the photo.
Which one of your photos is a dynamic composition that successfully leads the viewer’s eye through the work?
The third photo is the most dynamic because where the foam pieces meet and it takes you through the photo.
